INTENSIVE FEEDING PROGRAM

Establishing a healthy, safe, and positive mealtime routine can be one of the most important—and most challenging—goals for families. At Quantum Behavioral Consulting (QBC), we offer an ADA-compliant, individualized feeding program designed for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as typically developing children with feeding challenges.

Our approach is sensory-sensitive, evidence-based, and rooted in ABA principles. We target key feeding goals such as increasing time spent at the table, expanding food variety, improving pacing, building tolerance for new textures, and promoting overall nutritional intake. Each plan is carefully customized to suit the child’s specific needs and learning profile.

We partner closely with families, therapists, educators, and other care providers to support the child’s growth across physical, emotional, and social domains. Mealtime success is about more than just nutrition—it’s about creating a foundation for confidence and connection.

Our Expertise

Quantum Behavioral Consulting LLC has successfully addressed the feeding and mealtime concerns of many families. One child has successfully tried and consumed over 13 new foods in the past year!
What does the process look like?
To begin the feeding process, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct an initial interview with the family to evaluate what type of procedure may be appropriate for the child as well as to develop tailored feeding goals.

After developing a comprehensive and individualized plan, we will set up a time frame for a skilled behavior technician, who is trained in the methodologies, to come into the home to begin the service. The behavior technician will be supervised by the BCBA via in person, phone, and video.

When and where will feeding occur?
Feeding will occur in the child’s home over the course of a weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Staff will be present for all feeding opportunities. This will be a one-time service and can be arranged to fit your family’s needs.
How much does feeding cost?
Feeding is $1,500 for the weekend. Any carry over or continuation of the service will be an additional cost.

Payment must be made prior to date of service. We will accept payment plans via cash, check, or credit card. Following the service, you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement if applicable.

We ask that families please provide us with at least 24 hours advance notice of any cancellation. If the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a refund or make attempts to reschedule services to another weekend.

How will progress be monitored?
At the end of the weekend, our team will provide a progress update to the family, where we will review successful completion of the program, any continuation if applicable, and how the family can continue to support the child in the feeding process.
Will the parent(s)/caregivers be involved in the process?
Yes! Parents/caregivers will participate in all sessions. Parents/caregivers will be trained by our team of professionals on the procedures and how to carry over the strategies following the weekend.
