Hybrid Programming
Each student is paired with a specially trained Behavior Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician who works with them across both settings. Students spend part of their day at the QBC center focusing on targeted behavioral and social-emotional development, then transition to their school environment with the same therapist to apply those skills in context. This continuity of care supports stronger generalization and more durable outcomes.
The hybrid model is particularly effective for students at risk of outplacement or those returning from extended absences. By reinforcing skills in both clinic and classroom, students can make meaningful progress while staying connected to their home district—academically, socially, and emotionally. Programming is fully individualized and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with ongoing collaboration between QBC, families, and school teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
This approach not only reduces the need for costly out-of-district placements, but also gives districts a scalable, data-driven solution that helps students succeed in the least restrictive environment possible.
- Students are kept in their current district.
- Cost effective option for students who would benefit from this level of intervention.
- Allows for better generalization of skills.
- Higher likelihood of the student staying within their districts and out of outplacement.
